Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: Last Updated:

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Vertical Video Pro website and your purchase and use of services offered by Flight Year Productions, LLC, doing business as Vertical Video Pro. By purchasing, accessing, or using VVP services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Vertical Video Pro Services

VVP provides content-related services that may include video editing, strategy, creative support, ideas, long-form and short-form editing, repurposing, reviews, consultations, educational resources, community access, and related services. Specific features, quantities, turnaround targets, revisions, and benefits depend on the product or membership purchased.

2. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accessible footage, files, instructions, brand assets, access permissions, and other information reasonably necessary to complete requested work. Delays caused by missing material, incomplete instructions, delayed feedback, or other client-side issues may affect delivery timelines.

3. Content Passes

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, Content Pass credits are valid for 60 days from purchase. Unused credits expire after 60 days, have no cash value, and do not roll over or extend automatically.

4. Monthly Memberships

Memberships are billed month-to-month and renew automatically unless canceled. Unused monthly video allowances do not roll over, and the applicable allowance resets at the start of each billing cycle.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel a monthly membership during the current 30-day subscription period. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and does not retroactively cancel the current billing period or create a prorated refund unless agreed in writing.

6. Seven-Day Refund Policy

You may request a refund within seven calendar days of purchase by contacting info@verticalvideopro.com. If VVP has already begun or completed substantial custom work at your request, VVP may deduct the reasonable value of work performed or deny a refund for completed custom work, as permitted by law.

7. Payment and Automatic Renewal

Prices are displayed at purchase. By purchasing an automatically renewing membership, you authorize recurring charges at the applicable interval until canceled. Payments are processed through providers such as Stripe.

8. Turnaround Times

Any stated turnaround times are targets or estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. They may be affected by project complexity, footage, feedback, revisions, assets, technical issues, holidays, volume, and circumstances outside VVP’s control.

9. Revisions

Revision allowances depend on the purchased service. A material change to concept, structure, source footage, creative direction, or scope may be treated as a new request.

10. Raw Footage and File Retention

VVP may delete raw footage 60 days after upload or receipt. Final files in VVP-controlled cloud storage may be deleted 30 days after delivery. VVP is not a permanent file backup or archival storage provider.

11. Ownership of Final Deliverables

Upon full payment, you own final edited videos created specifically for you, subject to third-party rights. VVP retains its pre-existing intellectual property, systems, processes, templates, methodologies, software, training materials, and other non-client deliverables.

12. Portfolio and Promotional Rights

Unless you provide written opt-out instructions, you grant VVP permission to display final client work and related public project materials for portfolio, website, social media, case studies, advertising, and promotional materials.

13. Client-Provided Materials

You represent that you own or have obtained all necessary permissions, licenses, releases, and rights for materials you provide, including footage, music, logos, graphics, scripts, voice recordings, and third-party media.

14. No Guarantee of Performance or Results

VVP does not guarantee views, followers, engagement, leads, customers, sales, revenue, profit, return on investment, or other results. Content performance depends on factors outside VVP’s control.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VVP services and website content are provided on an as-is and as-available basis.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VVP’s aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid VVP for the service giving rise to the claim during the six months preceding the event.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Oregon law.
